Looking for recommendations for a Cataracts Surgeon.

Just had mine done at the eye clinic near the Pia Bella hotel. Lovely lady knows her stuff.

Dr Hatice at Cyprus Eye Clinic did mine when we first came here and I go back for regular checks. Very pleased with the results.

Horses for courses. When we first came here it was Dr H every time. But not now though. When I had an eye Op 2 years ago in Ankara they said I could have the stitches out here. One stitch was removed but I always felt there was another there, was told there wasn't. Last year I had another cataract Op on the second eye somewhere else. The surgeon asked why I still had a stitch in the first eye and he removed it there and then. 5 years ago, a Surgeon had to be flown from Turkey to correct an error that Dr H had made on a cataract Op on one of my husbands eyes. I'm sure a lot of people think she is wonderful and she was years ago, but not for us any longer.

Dr Huseyin at Kamilolu Hospital Kyrenia. Brilliant young man perfect English.

Dr Guvenir in Lefkosia, had cataracts removed in both eyes this year with no issues at all. His clinic is very modern, clean and highly efficient. I recommend him unreservedly.
