Lower back pain (a follow up)

A big thankyou to all that gave recommendations.
I went with Dr. Ahmet Ebeoglu from the Kolan British Hospital in Nicosia.

I rang up this morning and had a consultation with the Dr. a few hours later.

He did a few tests then sent me for an MRI scan.

By the time I got back to his office he had the results on his screen.

He explained in detail what my problem was (lumber foraminotomy laminectomy)
I think that is what he said.

Anyway I am booked in for Tuesday for an operation. One night stay in hospital then home on Wednesday.

Did he give you a price? Good luck with the op. I have had it done twice in the UK. It really does help and it is not painful.

Total cost including doctors consultation, mri scan, operation over night stay and 2 further consultations in a month or so is 15,540 tl about £1,585 which I think is fine.

I went in this morning for a pre op chat which
also included a chest x ray, blood test, another test where electrodes were
placed on upper body and a pcr test. (Apparently pcr test is standard now)
All of these tests are included in the original price of 15,540 tl.
