I checked both these clinics and neither do the antibody test.

Does anyone have any firm knowledge of any clinic doing them?

Oh how strange, my friend visited both 1 week ago. Mediport had a long wait but finally he did at Bellapais lights lab.

Erduran Laboratory near the Bellapais lights do have a sign up advertising Covid-19 PCR Tests, (that's to see whether you are actually currently infected with the Virus), but it doesn't say anything about Antibody Tests (to see whether you've ever been infected with the Virus in the past, and now have antibodies giving a level of immunity.

Forestpixie, I'm not sure what you mean about 'another change'...

The test required for travel is the PCR Test, to see whether you are actually currently infected with the virus.

The PCR test is the test that is available at Erduran Lab, and I think that it is the test that your friend would have had, not an Antibody test - and it is Antibody tests that this thread is about - have you perhaps confused the two tests?

Last week I received this text message (originally in Turkish but I've translated it) from Near East Hospital.

Easily find out if you have Covid-19 and your immune status with the Antibody Test! With Antibody Tests, which are started by taking blood samples in our hospital, you can find out whether you have had Covid-19 before or whether you are actively sick in 45 minutes. For detailed information: 444 0 535 for SMS cancellation, write YDUHASTANE and send it to 6110.
