doctor should be your first consideration, however the local chemists here are very good.

I agree the chemists here are very good, but breathlessness can be an indicator of something more serious such as COPD, where a wheezy cough is only a minor symptom.
Best to get a doctor/hospital to give you tests including chest Xrays, spirometry (breathing/lung capacity), ECG etc. Chemists will probably not be able to give such tests.
Don't let such symptoms go on untested.
