This Sunday's golf at CMC was the Guzelyurt Orange Festival Open, a full handicap Stapleford competition .
Tenty eight golfers competed in the very hot weather including two visitors from the International Golf Club of Nicosia.
The winner was Alan Green with 40 points and he also won nearest the pin, Caner Barin was second with 35 and Tony Chapman third with 34 points. Hasan Garabli won the best gross score and Targuc Ozen won the " nearest to the ravine" prize.The Mayor, Mahmut Ozginar, once again kindly sponsored this annual event, by providing the prizes, kebab meal & free beer.
Plus he was on hand to present the prizes to the winners.
