On Tuesday 12th January 2016 we will be holding our first of the New Year's Coffee Mornings at the Savoy Hotel, Girne.
It will start at 10 30am and admission will be 10TL per person to include tea/coffee and cake.
Thank you for all your support in the past years and we hope this year with your help we can continue to raise money to buy much needed equipment for our local Hospitals.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Re: NCCCT January 2016 Coffee Morning
Bearing in mind the adjacent thread about disability , please could NCCCT and indeed all Charities, please give details of parking facilitites at their venues, and other details liable to affect a less able bodied person - e.g. access to toilets, and number of stairs to be negotiated.

Re: NCCCT January 2016 Coffee Morning
In reply to Ragged Robin's posting we have discussed her concerns and will try our best to obtain as much suitable information as possible for our future Charity events.
In discussion, one of our committee who suffered a broken knee recently, thinks in her opinion, The Savoy could be a little difficult but not impossible. The toilets are situated in the same room as the venue, there is parking close to the main doors and she thinks valet parking is available but the function room is on a higher floor level and a distance from outside. She managed it quite OK last year though in a full leg plaster cast.
We hope this helps Ragged Robin and hopefully we will be seeing you at our Coffee Mornings and future events.

Re: NCCCT January 2016 Coffee Morning
Amen to all that, but when Alan last went a lovely young man produced a wheel chair and Alan was whisked through the b uilding via the casino et,c up in a lift and into the ven ue. And at the end his carriage awaited him. Yes, there is valet parking but I would recommend arriving early if you want space for your car.
As to other venues each is so different to the other. The large hotels will always help those with mob ility prob lems, but you need to ask. Another idea is to google the venue and see what it has to say about itself on the web! To be honest, the Savoy is perhaps the more challenging, but but places such as Malpas have everything on the same floor; the Rocks has a lift not too far from the entrance; Jasmine Court can be a little tricky but agian hotel staff will help.
(I am fairly knowledgeable on this because of finding ways for my husband to get to these venues/event.s Otherwise it becomes a b ig 'no n o'.)
