As we are moving away from the , 'weekly all on one' delivery model to a model of more frequent smaller deliveries I will use this thread to update on daily deliveries (if there are any) and other headline news.

10 more packets delivered today - 25 Apr 2020

Hi, map works as described.

Have you decided on a geographical boundary to your operations?

Any where we can reach that has people in need. One of the hardest things is getting request for help, some of them desperate, from people we can not reach. Fortunately I am working with amazing people with 'networks of like minded people' so we (meaning they) always try to find some way someone near them can help when we can not reach them. There are times however when all we can offer is 'try and contact your local beleydiere' :(

My 'dream' for the map / IT stuff we have built is that other groups in other areas start using it, so we can start to link up these efforts in some way but that may just be a pipe dream.

Mon, Tues and bit of Wed - 'central depot' stocked with free and bought items. Wednesday packets made up, now with smaller packets for single people and larger ones for multi adults and adults with with children. 15 'family' packets and 1 single person packet delivered. Should be updated on live map in due course.

Now using three 'sizes' of packets to better match help given to actual need, still averaging around 50TL in cost. Packets for today (ok yesterdays, just slipped past midnight) compared with previous efforts , look like

Just to note dots on public interactive map now show green for households that have had help delivery in last 2 weeks not one. After 2 weeks they turn orange. Households entered on system yet to receive any help still show red.

quick update. help still going out and rate increasing. progress made on first 'community liaison' person to help in all sorts of ways including monitoring of on going 'need level' per household in their community. progress on ways and means of getting more people in need on to the database. database and live map incremental tweaks and improvements. progress on transitioning from 'one size fits all' packet to 'bespoke according to current need' packet. other stuff.

Map now has a domain and has had over all stats and other things added. http://cyprustomorrow.com/ we continue to turn your donations in to real world help to people with ever greater refinement of targeting greatest need and with ever increasing efficiency. As long as we can keep money coming in we will keep turning it in to real world help. Even a 10TL donation can and is making so much difference. Thanks to all who have supported this effort.

Sounds amazing what you are achieving & even better if others can access the map to add what is happening in other areas. :+1:) :+1:)
