Attempted break in advice

Came back recently to find our 2nd floor flat sliding door had been attacked with chisel or screw driver making a bit of a mess to door and damaging lock. It is the only blind spot on our property and would be interested if anyone has advice on secure roller shutters or other means which could be used to protect property. Have been coming for 17 years never had any problems before times be a changing !
