Leather coat maker.

I have some nice leather skins and would like to have a jacket/coat made from them. Can anyone recommend a good leather worker for this kind of job?

I would also be interested as I have a leather coat that needs to be altered. Have tried tailors but they do not have the heavy duty machines needed. Thanks

Yes I have done the same Mrsgee. Let's hope someone knows someone. I know of several over in Turkey but have not spotted one here yet.

I was thinking to try Leatherworld in catalkoy to see if they do alterations. They sell leather jackets so may have the facility to do alterations.

They do, (sell leather I mean) but I rather think they buy in from the big warehouses in Turkey and would be more interested in trying to sell you a new coat!

Yes, I know, but I though maybe they would offer an alteration facility, probably not though.....
