Airport shopping mall

We visited the Mall yesterday and apart from the very loud music it was a pleasant surprise. It's clean and bright with a good variety of shops and a lovely food hall.
There's ample easy parking, a ramp into the entrance and wheelchairs available just inside the door. The shops are very spacious and the toilets have very easy access, no steps anywhere.
Quite a drive to get there but once there it makes for a nice couple of hours of relaxation and retail therapy.

Quite agree there. There is also the added bonus of the food hall with quite a few different choices of food type at very reasonable prices, and the ability to sit in or out. It's about the same distance to travel there for me, as it is in to Girne, so it's a no brainer, and Erulku is just along the road.

We often do the Erulku and shopping mall double too. It's well worth the journey, though we only go to the mall to eat. Elizabeth (didn't want to use your real name), where have you been all these years!!!

We've been there before Mark but it was when it first opened, it's improved a lot since then, especially with regard to the disabled customers.
Off topic but I hope Sally is on the mend after her operation.

If you mean Erulku, it is a large supermarket, where stuff is cheaper than in the Girne supermarkets. To find it, leave the Airport Mall and head towards Lefkosa on the dual carriageway. Urulku is on the right just before you get to the roundabout where you would normally turn right to go to Girne.

Erulku is the big green and orange jobbie. You can access it from the Girne/Degermenlik/Arapkoy road.

Thanks for the info, have seen the big supermarket across from the shopping mall so will give it a try and the one at Famagusta. Is there anywhere similar to Tekxan DIY around? Also does anyone know where to get good priced granite worktop, have had a quote for a 3mtr length fitted for £750 is this a good price as l only know the prices in Turkey and am finding some of the price in TRNC quite expensive!

Thanks in advance.

Warhorse, there's a Tekzen in the Airport Mall. Erulku, I think has some Yar stuff, but there is a YAR DIY at the City Mall in Famagusta.
Can't help with granite pricing.

There is a company called Izmer that sells granite, we bought our kitchen work top from there, much cheaper than the kitchen company could offer it for. I can give you directions if you want to take a look, at what they've got.

There is a huge new DIY section in Erulku supermarket. If you park at the west end of the car park nearest to the Girne road the newly built entrance will take you through the DIY section before entering the main supermarket.
