Sea Front Restaurants - or buffets

Friends of ours will be in North Cyprus in December to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. We are currently looking to book a restaurant, ideally with a great view for 50 or so people. I've looked at Kybele in Bellapais Abbey, but ideally would prefer a sea front venue.

Can you please recommend places worth looking at, ideally if they offer a buffet that would be fantastic.

Secondly are there any BBQ buffets in North Cyprus? I know they have them on the south.

I used peanuts behind the girne hospital. They will not take bookings BUT if you ask them for 50 people i am sure you could do a deal. Lovely sea view. Was there last week with 8 people. I am sorry i dont have their phone number but at the roundabout there is a small sign. Going down there is like going down a mountain!!! It is a very busy place. It it lovely.

The views are Ezic Penuts are amazing, however for a 25th anniversary I think something a tad more upmarket.
Ive tried Lords Palace but to be honest I wasn’t that impressed with the food. I guess worst case there is Niazi’s but no view :(

Someone mentioned the Merit, may try that, but open to suggestions at the moment.

I need somewhere that the couple will always remember in year's to come, so open to suggestions

TIA

Might be a tad cold in December (weather is always changeable at this time of the year) so think about an indoor venue. Acapulco has a lovely restaurant by the beech. Speak with Denise at [email protected] she’s always been very helpful and well versed in dealing with special functions. Could even stop over in the hotel rather than drive home.

Hurma Restaurant just past the Acapulco or Driftwood. Shayna is looking a tad run down at the moment.

Just back from lunch at the High Life Hotel. Fabulous setting overlooking the sea. Prefer this to Destiny Deniz as the road at DD spoils it. Also being higher than Destiny the views are better.

Kervans is just an ordinary cafe type of place (great to go to but not somewhere I would go for a celebrations) However Peris (Fish Restaurant) next door is a different cup of tea. You can't miss it, the owner frequently has his Roller (registration plate PERIS) parked outside!!
