Boats, berths and taxes?

Hi,
I am just after a little bit of informed advice. Can you bring a boat to the TRNC and , as long as it is registered in another country, berth it here without having to import it and pay the import taxes?
It seems a bit too much to ask, that this would be possible, but I would be pleased if it was to be the case.
