Flowering trees
We would like to plant some (not to big) trees ready for next year, so my question is, can anyone recommend any that flower from May time through the summer. Many thanks

Re: Flowering trees
We call them potato bushes as the flowers are purple and about the size of those on a potato plant. They can grow quite tall and spread, just need to use the secateurs carefully to keep them the size you can cope with. They flower most of the year as well, which is nice. In most garden centres, in fact Id say, in ALL garden centres!! Look around and you will spot one I am sure. Grow easily and pretty quickly, which is also good for making a garden look more like a garden!
