Does anyone know when the buses will start and will there be social distancing on them.

They haven't decided yet, not sure its possible to socially distance on a dolmuş!

If social distancing is demanded then I suspect a dolmus will seat six. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. (and please don't rant and rave at me, asking what about the people who depend on them) The fact remains that only about 6 people could sit safely.

Thank you for responses. As I don't have car I now walk to Erdener from Ozanköy, it takes me 20 minutes not too bad but dragging shopping back home 45 minutes. The amount of people.I pass with no mask or gloves. I wear mask and gloves and I also have plastic face mask so I would risk the bus.

Is there no-one that would shop for you. Walking all that time in the flaming heat must be a killer.

No one stops and I do not think it is because of the virus as drivers and passengers are not wearing masks and gloves. When my car was running I always stopped to ask if people wanted a lift. Sometimes I even took them into Girne.
Now I am thinking.it is good exercise but getting the bus back from Erdener would be much appreciated.
Yes I know go early morning or early evening. Have to get into a routine.

If the bus door is open its safer as the wind blows it through

Cases of meat packing factories where the workers catch the disease the cold air and shouting

Do Erdeners not do a delivery service?

Not sure but I always like to choose my fruit and veg.

I'd prefer to have a mistake in my fruit and veg than walk like you do in this heat.

Might sweat off a few pounds that i have put on in lockdown!!
