Everyone who has a bike stuck in the back of the garage gathering dust and spiders or in the garden propping up the chicken shed gathering rust, can apply for a Fifty pound voucher to make said bike safe to ride again, Its SUPPOSED to be to persuade people not to use public transport to get to work etc., Yet another hand out that's going to take at least a decade to equate with UK borrowing. The bike repairer man is going to laughing all the way to the bank with that priceless Government hand out announced this afternoon.

Yeah, I did see that...

Seems a little 'Off the wall', don't you think ?

I can see there being a glut of 'refurbished' cycles on the second hand market. :)

It’s part of the “mini Holland Scheme” by 2025 a throwback when Boris Johnson was Mayor of a London. London has had a lot of bike lanes added over the years, causing traffic to flow less. AimIng for all big cities.

Ah, it's a pity that he's not still Mayor instead of being in charge of killing off all the pensioners - he did a lot less damage then...

I'm so glad that I live in TRNC now!

Why would the government here give a 50 pound voucher? The currency is Turkish lira surely.
