UK back in category C.

B was 1 week in a quarantine hotel, I am not sure what being in C means.

I thought that they were in B. I might be wrong though, I do have my eyes on a few countries at the moment.

Actually, you are indeed correct leester. It is the south that the UK were in band b for.

Please ignore this post, everyone, I have had a nightmare.

There has been a lot of gossip about UK being put in 'B' from the 1st of August. In fact this was spoken about for weeks before that by a lot of people who seemed to take it for granted it was going to happen and they all would be able to come back here without quarantine. What the WHO actually said was that if the UK numbers continued to drop they may be placed in B rather than C. Of course the UK numbers have not dropped they have gone up.

Sadly the enthusiasm of some on social media to read something or hear something and repeat it without verifying it first causes much confusion as ever.
