Halogen table top oven
Does anyone out there know where I can purchase a Halogen oven?

Good morning. I bought mine at halos. It's the shop on the left as you exit the bypass roundabout heading towards alsancak.

Even after all these years I really do miss my Halogen top and keep humming and harring as to whether to change. When I finally make up my mind, low and behold we have a power cut, so I stick to gas. I have to admit that at my age it would be great not to have to carry the gas cylinders around.

If the oven as in most cases is electric anything other than a gas hob would be folly, just my opinion!

You can get hobs that are combined. Two gas burners along side 2 or 4 halogens. Best of both worlds. I have seen them at Halos in Karakum.

I looked at combined hobs a while ago, but they seemed to be very expensive here. I ended up getting a single induction counter top hob, which is so much quicker than gas, and supposedly more efficient. Would definitely look at domino gas and induction hobs at some point in the future. Would be great to do without the gas hob full stop, but as we still get power cuts, not willing to risk it.

At least I have a white glass gas hob, which is so much easier to clean and mostly looks spotless. Another thing I'd like to buy is an electric dryer, so that the place doesn't resemble a Chinese laundry in the rainy season.

I've often thought of getting a tumble dryer, but no space in an appropriate place. I put washing on airers in spare bedroom and stick A/C on dry (humidifier) setting for a while when there is no drying outside. I believe you can get electric airers, but not sure how good they are, or if available here.
