Wood Burning Stove supplier

I noticed that “Cyprus Today “ this Saturday November 21st published on page 8 an article about wood burners, and there was a photograph of a shop interior which displayed a range of wood burning stoves.

Does anyone know exactly where this shop is? I’m looking for a ‘bucket’ style basic wood burner, and certainly not a heavy cast iron one.

Do you mean by a "bucket" style that the wood burner has a "Bucket" inside of it? Are you looking for the brown tin type of Turkish bucket style wood burner by chance? If so most Yapi markets will have those and the chimney pipes in stock at this time of year.
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

I have been using the type you described, bought it at an auction a few years ago. But it is cracking at the seam in
several places and I don’t think it’s safe any more. My local Yapi in Karsiyaka doesn’t have any, but 8 5ink you are right, I should extend my searches further.

You have a choice of 2 yapi markets in Karsyaka then 4 in Lapta and another 2 on the main alsancak road.

There is a large yapi market in Gonyeli which has an very large choice of Turkish style log burners, the owner speaks excellent English and will deliver to most places.

China Bazzar even have these AND repacement buckets to suit, so it would save howard jennings having to replace the whole stove.
Not that they are very expensive anyway.

They all should be sold with carbon monoxide detectors alongside gas heaters but are not available in the TRNC, otherwise they are possible death traps.
