British Council in Cyprus Digital Library

Thought this might be of interest to some, read an article about it in Cyprus Today last week. It's a free trial offer until March next year, and gives access to newspapers, magazines, audio books, books, music concerts and theatre.

Found out today, this has been made public on Facebook. So James. who published on FB, can you please in future, not take the credit and at least quote Cyprus Today, or, put a link to this forum and not take the credit all to yourself?
It may not matter to you James, but it matters to me, that I check out things before posting, and taking all the credit for.

Re: British Council in Cyprus Digital Library
Actually, I do read Cyprus Today myself. I have just read this post Alphamike, and am happy to credit you. Even if it was in the paper on page 10, on 14/11.
If Cyprus Today were to credit people for the stories which they publish, I would probably also credit them for the story which prompted the post I made.
Posting a link to the forum only works if people are registered members, which many in the group I shared the link with are not.
So to keep you happy, I have cited the paper and your post in this forum. Sorry if you felt unappreciated, not my intention.

Not a problem wjms. I am no way taking credit for this, I found it on Cyprus Today one week ago. Now why have you suddenly decided to post it on FB a few hours after I posted it, and with saying it's a trial until March....and no credit to to this forum until after I posted on here, is my issue, thank you.

Link didn’t work when I received my email. Clicked on the link and it said it had expired even though it only took a few seconds to get the email

Thanks alpha mike. It won’t let me try again. Says my details are all ready registered but won’t accept password or anything. So I sent them a message

Just for info, it appears that the trial period has been extended until March 2022.

You are welcome wrymouth. It went a bit dippy a few days ago, and thought that was it, concerts disappeared, and couldn't access newspapers properly, but then checked again yesterday and all good with an extended trial.
