Noticed an increase in people using plastic or non wood boards that have the appearance of decking boards and wonder if anyone knows where I can purchase this material?

Had enough of making my fences out of wood and then staining them every couple of years and have some small height fences to erect on the tops of existing stone walls.

Any ideas people?

Had a quote from one place in Catalkoy a few years back, won't mention name, but well OVER priced. If anyone can tell me where and how much they cost, I would also be interested. Preferably white.

Soner, I guess its the same place who made me a non fancy, square cover for a gazebo, £200. Massivly over priced. Again wont mention the name but a shop close by makes nice bread and other delicious meals!

Same Catalkoy shop - quoted us 90 euro per length !!!!!
The Yapi market a bit further up (from Girne going towards Accapulco turning) --- had some for 135 TL per 3 mtr length. That was a couple of months ago. He couldn't get the amount we needed (plus only 1 colour) so we ended up doing it in decking wood. V nice it looks too.

if only, what sort of price was your decking wood and where from please? Going to do a monster search for this stuff today but based on the last search have not got a lot of hope of finding any - lol.

You can decking wood lengths in 2 widths from Yar opposite entrance to Belediye car park in centre of town

We tried Paralik - they said they did not do the composite ones.
YAR in town - our wooden decking planks were 90TL per 4 mtr length. We did not want a dark stain so used Antique Bamboo. Still a work in progress but we are pleased with it.

Had my daughter check Paralik this afternoon. They had Composite Deckboards at 115tl. But, only in brown and quite narrow.

Yes Paralik could only get one colour which was not my preference it is a sort of chestnut brown. Not sure about width of boards maybe about 4” - 5” can measure exactly if anybody wants to know.
