:+1:) got our PTP this week and just paid the transfer fee, after 2 years but you still have to factor in the two lockdown periods.
Land registry only by timed appointment, would have worked well if the other party wasn't two and a half hours late!
(:()) P:)) P:))

Forgot to say that card plus debit cards are not allowed.
So we had to
1,go and get the cash
2,pay into the co-op bank account of the government and take the receipt back to the land registry office.

Depending on how you applied,
Through your lawyer, they should contact the PTP office weekly.
If another method, you can phone yourself ,l don't have the number, quoting reference no.
You can go to the office in lefcosia and ask.
Good luck.

The recent PTPs are regularly published at Official Gazette of Northern Cyprus.

Did you use a lawyer to get it?

You now have to make an appointment for matters relating to PTP (and residency) at the Ministry of Interior, see link below:

There's an option top left to change the language to English.

16 years ago we thought that our totally useless so called lawyer was contacting PTP on a weekly basis. I was getting very miffed at how slow things were, so I went into the offices on the left of the Girne Court and gave passport number to the woman behind the counter. She brought out a huge leather bound book and said "you had PTP 7 months ago but no-one has been in to collect it." I know things are different now and everything is computerised, but don't assume your legal firm is checking up for you on a regular basis!!!!
