They voted leave for the grandchildren, probably in the hopes it would stop them visiting - lol. Come on, it’s Monday, have a laugh!

Just heard…appears no problem with late night arrivals from Larnaca..coming over the border into curfew time.. as Taxis get special permission from police

Spoke to a couple yesterday who had come over from Paphos, second time, they only had a free pcr test from the South to cross the border, do we still have to have a signed test?

We went on Friday. No problems at all. Police certificate given for twelve months.
On the way back to the north all cars were having passports looked at on the GC side. Lovely young friendly police lady checking them in a new booth at the start of the road across the buffer zone.

I’ve now heard a few swallows / tourists / visitors are going back and forth..with no problems..

I went across today (Metehan) took vaccination card etc
Quiet both ways - the quietist time so far for me.
Supermarkets are pretty quiet as well
On return I asked the Greek Cypriot lady about whether I had 90 days etc and she didn’t have a clue as to what I was on about ! So none the wiser ....
