If it's the PCR test you are asking about, then yes.
Last time used a few months back:
Near East Hospital Lefkosa charge 200tl
Life Hospital Famagusta charge 150tl

These are FREE antigen tests, not PCR tests which cost.

Antigen tests are the ones required for crossing North to South.

Antigen test I printed out is useless for crossing the border as the free ones dont have a signature . Would be great if the powers that be would just add the required stamp and signature to the template.

According to cypriumnews.com it states;

“Crossing at checkpoints require you to submit a negative PCR or antigen test in the last 7 days, with documents in English and Turkish, during Crossing points”

“Although a wet signature is not required for the documents to be shown at the Crossing points, SMS messages sent to the phone will not be accepted”

This was from 5th June, so things may have changed, as well as this might only refer to crossing from/back into the North, assuming the South let you cross?

Maybe the North don’t require a signature, but the South does?

Glad it worked for you. Frustrating that it seems that it depends on the jobs worth you get on the Greek side .however other messages are implying that as soon as you pass the Greek side then that counts as your 1st of 90 days and on return from shopping they dont record you as coming back. Hence the worry of being illegal or being fined if you then cross again .enormous problem if you leave to go.to the UK .

You are 100% correct. I asked when leaving the ROC, if today’s crossing was counted as one day. The very pleasant lady said you must leave the ROC through a recognized port within 90 days of today, it’s regardless of whether you cross again or not.

We have flights already booked that we can change up to two hours before take-off, leaving from LCA within 90 days. We are just waiting (and hoping) the ROC, changes from Amber to Green (UK grading), so we don’t have to do quarantine when arriving in UK.

Other options are to fly out of LCA to Crete/Rhodes/Athens/Tel Aviv, have a short holiday, then return to TRNC via Turkey/Ercan.

Flights are so cheap at the moment, with lots of options to cancel/re-book, etc.

For those that just want to go shopping and don’t really want to leave the ROC within 90 days, it’s a very expensive shopping trip just to stock up with genuine Nespresso Pods!

Shame the Greeks wont allow local tourism between both sides. Without the 90,day rule.
That's put the stop to shopping for me and many others. Glad someone pointed this problem our before I crossed with my antigen .

Yes. Went by car, they are giving out the MOT document, but only for one month.

It is hard to believe that there are so many genuine people that have themselves, experienced so many things differently to me.

So in theory, if you go shopping e.g. once a week, you've entered ROC up to 12 times in the 90 days - but never left - how do their system/computers handle these multiple entries without exits, and when finally leaving Larnaca (once), what about the 11 other "yous" that are still in ROC?

I think that when you enter the South the first time from Metehan, it doesn’t matter to the GC’s that you have actually left, I.e. returned to TRNC and entered a week later without ever leaving, as they consider the North part of the ROC.

I understand the point “how can you enter multiple times without ever leaving?” Great point and this might actually be the solution for us.

They will not acknowledge Metehan, etc as anything other than a “Crossing Point”

They will never be referred to “Borders”

So maybe they might have to allow Brits and other 3rd party nationals unlimited entry, (assuming last entry was from ECN) or more likely, refuse us any entry as we arrived from an illegal port?

It’s easy for them, they just allow 90 days from our last arrival from LCA or Paphos/Limassol, but lose the millions of Euros we spend in their shops.

Personally I think they (ROC) will make all the decisions clear by July 7th.

Maybe Varosha might be the solution?

Has anyone that arrived at a ROC airport and crossed over pre-brexit, tried crossing - just wondering if the 90 day clock started ticking on Jan 1st for those who came in before then but haven't left- or is it only ticking for new arrivers?
