Not the area place solution for you but a brilliant one opposite 'Café de Paris' restaurant down a narrow lane in the very heart of Girne, near the old Belediyesi. Makes and mends clothes on an old 'singer' machines for not much money!

I'm afraid Panchocat it's the Ozankoy tailor who has let me down. Took a skirt and trousers in a month ago and have been back 3 times now to collect the stuff on the days he said they would be ready. Still not done. A waste of my time and petrol.

He's a victim of his own success... needs to turn away some custom or employ someone to help with the workload.leester polfus wrote: ↑Mon 12 Jul 2021 2:20 pmI'm afraid Panchocat it's the Ozankoy tailor who has let me down. It takes time but you can't fault the workmanship or the price.

I don't mind having to wait Groucho but to go back 3 times on dates given to me by the chap himself to find that the jobs haven't even been started, well it is a little annoying - especially travelling from Bahceli. As you say, a victim of his own success.
