does anyone know if the Hideaway is open ?

No it closed last year.

Thankyou Jo , I know it closed when sold last year but hoping to reopen sometime this year ? I wondered if anyone knows what’s happening with regard to the the new owners & hotel ?

There has been some work going on down there but it’s not open. The rumour is that it’s not going to do so and that the apartments are going to be sold as homes/holiday homes. I have no idea whether this is true or not but I believe that it was originally built as a villa complex, so it may be completing a full circle.
The new owners are Turkish I believe.

Thankyou for your reply Brazen , Yes it was originally built as four individual villas and the cottages built when the original family turned it into the Hideaway Hotel , had many a good holiday there over the years

was rather hoping the new owners were going to carry on the business as a boutique hotel .
