Has anyone ever brought a UK registered car to the North, and then crossed over to the south whilst still being a UK registered car with UK plates still on ?
If you did were you able to get ROC road tax at the booth and then insurance ?
Any advice would be appreciated

Yes I did there was no need for road tax as I had uk road tax and a green card insurance but now as we aren't in the eu I suppose that's no good. I assume there no problem with insurance from the booth as I used it when my uk insurance ran out.

Thanks terry2366 for the information.....The insurance element is not a problem from the Booths as long as the Road tax is covered in the South.
I have UK Road Tax and UK Insurance as well.
Hoping they allow that as valid to drive there as was the case pre Brexit.
