I have just read this information from a soccer publication. Can you believe it!!!

“Chelsea vs Tottenham on September 19 will be the first 'net zero' elite football match. The term 'net zero' is in relation to direct emissions that are a result of the match.
Fans are encouraged to travel via walking, bicycle or public transport and only eat plant-based food .
It is part of a plan to make the game the world's first net zero carbon fixture at an elite level, with broadcaster Sky planing (sic) to cut emissions around the televising the clash.
Fans are also urged to take positive steps and reduce their own carbon footprint, and both sets of players will arrive at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on coaches powered by biofuel.
Spurs and the Blues are additionally set to drink water from more sustainable cartons as opposed to plastic bottles.
Food kiosks inside the ground will be offering a large selection of plant-based food options to allow spectators to make a more sustainable choices when it comes to eating.”

I thought I would pass this Premier League Climate Change nonsense on to you.
1 Can you see this catching on (Mind you the players and PL and FA support the Marxist philosophy by taking the knee)
2 Can you see the players walking/ cycling to their training ground to pick up the coach, leaving their expensive gas guzzling cars at home
3 Why not go the whole hog and ban supporters from breathing out that noxious gas, carbon dioxide?

Whatever next?

Virtue signalling bollox.
Just a quick look in the car park where the players pick up the ‘coaches powered by biofuel’ and park their own cars will reveal the hypocrisy.

Bit like the extinction rebellion kids getting a lift into London from the Home Counties in Mummy’s 4x4 before trying to stop trains and buses full of us plebs.

Nope, it always starts as a reasonable request.

I’m coming to the view of zero tolerance as before you know it you’ll have to walk 50 yards from a Beefeater to eat your steak outside.

They can always have a salad Imo
