PCR tests for double-vaccinated travellers 'to be dropped'
this may be of interest to some people,
do we think that there is any chance of the North dropping the PCR test requirement, if they don't then the economy will really suffer bad

Re: PCR tests for double-vaccinated travellers 'to be dropped'
Long overdue change.
It makes sense that double vaccinated people arriving in the U.K. take the lateral flow test. Yes not as accurate as PCR, however if this test shows positive then a PCR must then be taken.
Cheaper and quicker.
We have to learn to live with this virus, much like we do with flu. A good number of MPs are also saying that the daily Covid infections/deaths given out on the BBC should be dropped. They are less than in a bad flu epidemic and these stats are now having a negative affect.
The best way to lessen the chance of catching Covid is to get vaccinated and continue to wear face masks in crowded places, observe distancing and sanitise your hands regularly.

I couldn't agree more PID. I've disagreed with the daily Covid deaths being broadcasted by the BBC for some time now. At first it was necessary as the numbers were so shocking and necessary in order go goad people, councils, the travel industry etc etc into preventative action. But now they are rattled out as if they were the days temperatures or football scores.

It was reported through statistics that people who were double vaccinated presented a very low risk of proving positive with Covid…
Yet this result is being ignored..by certain countries…wonder why ?????
Is it to do with money makers who carry out the tests…, ??????
