Maybe as there is often a choice over which vaccine you can have, demand for the AZ variety has been subdued by the myths and legends of the internet.... I can't believe how many otherwise rational human beings are prepared to ignore the scientific experts and believe complete rubbish propagated on the internet, putting themselves and others at risk.

Crazy, crazy. crazy people. Mostly I blame those here refusing to accept AZ. I've had it and very very grateful too. What do people expect when they go for a jab? A menu placed in front of them?. Social media and far too many dangerous rumour mongers in this country.

The EU politicians peed off at Brexit did the most damage with regards to AZ.

no, sorry. you are in many ways right... but still,

From the link above -
Pfizer/BioNTech ... Adverse reactions were reported less frequently in older adults (over 55 years) than in younger people.
AstraZeneca ... Adverse reactions were generally milder and reported less frequently in older adults (65 years and older) than in younger people.
Moderna ... Adverse reactions were reported less frequently in older adults (over 65 years) than in younger people.
"Obvious, innit?" Just shows us oldies are the tough ones; this younger generation are just softies....
