Think a bit more detail is needed as to how you access UK tv channels. Do you use VPN, smart DNS or some other means?
It could be something as simple as an adblocker on your browser on laptop, but who knows without more detail.

Re: Problem watching Channel 4
Try changing the time on your device to match UK time i.e. -2 hrs from Cyprus time. Channel4 have implemented a time-zone check to ensure you are in UK. It's a crude Windows hurdle that caught me out, if I want to watch C4 on my laptop I have to do this.

Apparently there was a fire emergency/alarm in one of the TV Centres that supplies Freeview channels.

Apparently this has affected Ch4 and Ch5. Its not a network issue or a tunnel problem. Its their problem. If it was working before the fault occurred you would be wise not to touch anything.

With the help of the always amazing Streamvia support I have set up the VPN on my ipad & all programmes on C4 are available
Now we just have to sort out why the HDMI lead is not getting through to the TV screen!
Happy Monday everyone

You will need to find the HDMI AR Port (i.e. the one with audio return) and set it to receive input from your device in settings on the TV. As well as sharing output from your device.
