PCR test if travelling to North Cyprus
Do the forum thing that the requirement to have a PCR test for the fully vaccinated will soon disappear or will it persist? Must be putting many people off, especially families as it is do expensive in the UK.

Turkey today have said you will no longer need PCR test to enter if your double vaccinated, let's hope TRNC follow quickly. We fly out in 2 weeks so keeping everything crossed for a change in the rules.

As of 11.10.2021 no pre-flight PCR test is needed when entering the TRNC if you are coming from UK or EU country. However, there obviously will be a PCR test at the airport which means you have to wait for the results several hours before leaving Ercan??

Vaccinated or Recovered from Amber Countries
As of 11.10.2021, arrivals will be able to enter the country without presenting the negative PCR test result of the last 72 hours upon arrival. However, they will be tested for PCR/Antigen upon arrival.

What's the point of dispensing with the need for a pre flight test but then imposing a test on arrival? Is it a concern of false paperwork?
If anything this will slow everything down.
We can only hope this morphs into random testing on arrival as per arrivals into the south.

Does anyone know how long to do we have to wait for the results ... or do they just send an SMS? It would be nice to inform the taxi driver of the exact time to pick us up from Ercan.
