Please does anyone know if the date for requirement for a PCR test on returning to Uk has been announced and if so when that is?

These are the current rules for travelling to UK from another country
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/countries-w ... tine-rules
This announcement came out this morning:
From 24 October fully vaccinated passengers and most under 18s arriving in England from countries not on the red list can take a cheaper lateral flow test, on or before Day 2 of their arrival into the UK. These can be booked from 22 October.

Re: PCR test going back to UK
The change on the 24th as I see it is for people who have been vaccinated in the UK, gone on holiday and are returning.
Or going to the UK from a country on the recognised vaccination list. Of which Cyprus and Turkey are on that list. The TRNC is not on that list. So if you have been vaccinated in the TRNC because it’s not recognised for vaccination purposes ,you are classed as unvaccinated.
You will need PCR test, book a two and eight day test and fill in a uk location form.
Turkey’s vaccination certificate and South Cyprus EU certificate is different from the ADA pass. I am quite happy to be proved wrong and if someone can point me to the correct official regulation that allows people who were vaccinated in TRNC to travel via Turkey or South Cyprus without the documentation I have mentioned I will have a look and stand corrected.
