Birth Certificate/Gov Office/Lawyer

Hi everyone,

I am trying to locate the original birth certificate of a family member.

They handed their original Cyprus handwritten birth certificate from the 50s into an office in Lefkoşa (probably TRNC Immigration Office ) in 2012 and received their new printed TRNC birth certificate and ID card.

Does anyone know of either a Girne/Kyrenia birth registry office that I can contact to see if they still have a copy of the original?

Or a lawyer that can help us track down a copy of the original?
