Help please in easy terms for a non tech.
Thank you

Thank you forestpixie
But I'm concerened it says hackers mght be trying to steal my information. Clicking the advance as you suggest could open it to all sorts of problems.
I've changed nothing on my computor so cant understand why this is coming up.

Re: Help please from Techno people
It means that the security certificate for the site you are trying to access (in your case I’m guessing to book an antigen/PCR test on the Ministry of Health website) has expired. It happened to me a day or two ago but that was because the website’s certificate expired the day before. It’s been fixed now so should be ok.
If you still get the same message clear your browser’s cache.
Not to teach granny about eggs but the security certificate on a website is what allows you to enter “httpS” - the “s” at the end says the site has a security certificate and data between it and your browser is encrypted. It used to mainly be used for sites where payments were being made (eg with credit cards) but has now become almost a universal thing. Renewal of the certificate requires action by the site owner/hosting provider but is sometimes overlooked or late.

In Chrome:
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More More.
Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.

Can you try a different browser? I use Firefox and it worked ok for me. Having said that I changed to Chrome when I needed to pay for the Health Insurance because Firefox would not let me pay with the card.

Just click on Advanced - ignore the warning if it's a legit website and click to continue to the website (despite whatever warnings you see)

Thank you Chriswright03
I'll try changing my browser, tried a couple of sites on my phone no problem opening so clearly laptop is the issue.
Thank you Keithcaley
Worried about ignoring any warning to me its there for a reason, to stop hackers.
I might be over cautious but not had this warning until resently but as a last resort might have to just do it.

Re: Help please from Techno people
This web site you are trying to access is for the Health Insurance is that right. It is for the Koop Bank so it really will be secure and it is a false negative really. I understand your hesitancy though.
I have posted this before in other threads but with any computer you really should have two log ins. One as yourself how you will use it every day and a second one in a different name with a different strong password to be Admin. That way if anyone does manage to hack onto your computer they cannot access the back end of your system and do harm. I have used this system for years having been told about it by someone well in the know with computer systems. By all means pm me if you need help with setting it up on Windows.
