Thanks, not the company I've booked with but you should name and shame the company and the booking agent in 'public' with your experience.

This is a public forum, accessible to everyone.

Rules around naming and shaming are different in the TRNC, compared to other countries. To prevent problems for the forum or the owner it is better to provide more detail by email/pm.

Feel like we've dodged a bullet

I had message that company re CDW and the reply was....CDW is included but there is excess depending on the model , normally 300-400 pounds

I only have hire with 0 excess, in all the years we have been coming on one of our visitors has had an accident and the company we used were brilliant, unfortunately all their cars are really old now, so we are trying another company

When we had family visit us for a couple of days three months ago, their car hire firm contract had an excess of One thousand pounds. When they saw the mayhem in Girne town centre, we ended up driving them around.

Your post has been deleted as you a clearly not in touch with the way things work in the TRNC with regards to naming and shaming via social media. Forums are monitored and there have been instances where the forum owner/administrators have been contacted requesting posts be removed or else face legal action. Hence sending a pm to a good number of people who asked for further information. You did not ask for information so you have no idea of the circumstances or the discussions I have had with the company concerned.

Suffice to say the company concerned have been contacted and are well aware of our dissatisfaction.

To even suggest that I am attempting to “stab” the company in the back is completely unacceptable. Any further posts which attempt to stir things up will also be deleted.

Two further posts by Waz24-7 have been deleted and a final warning issued.

Well done Waz is and always has been, a stirrer.... he should be banned from this forum in my opinion as he has nothing of value to contribute

Surprised he has not blamed it on Brexit
