Amazon delivery addresses

I have had an Amazon UK account for many years. I have many delivery addresses to several countries.
When we moved to North Cyprus, I added my Dipkarpaz account, no problem and used it for more than 10 years. I always kept my English address as 'default' address.
When we moved to Famagusta last month, I deleted the Dipkarpaz address and added the Famagusta address. Entered the address - fine - as soon as I enter my phone number, which has not changed and there it all goes wrong!!! I tried different tel no, name, (:Z)(
I don't know what to do!!!!

It's not very clear, as I had to reduce it a lot for this forum, but I rechecked by entering it all again and definitely not a Zero problem

I've just checked my address here on Amazon account. My phone number is entered starting 533 without 0 at front and without country code.

I have always assumed that because of Customs etc you couldnt have anything delivered to here unless using DHL. Am I wrong? So if I ordered something from Amazon it will be delivered to my address here? Any advice would be welcome.

I had the same problem last week it would not let me enter a new address with the phone number being the problem.
Solved the problem by no deleting my old details but by retyping my new address in the existing info and therefore not having to input the phone number which appeared to be the problem. It wont help those have deleted there old details, but it may save others from having the problem.

RP - I unfortunately did delete it!!!!! Thought of it afterwards but too late!!!!!

SD - used to have no problems with Amazon deliveries(mostly books) haven't had anything delivered since Covid and also since Dipkarpaz lost it's postman and the 'postmaster' does not think it is his job to deliver even though the post office provided him with a very nice electric car!!!!!!!!!!
We have now moved to Famagusta and we had hoped we could try again, but.................

SD : We used to have items delivered from Amazon no problem, but since Covid issues, and then a whole lot of post stolen by some postal employee(when we lost some private parcels), I have not done it,

I used to get deliveries from 'LANDSEND', but since Covid , when I had an order, it got stuck in Nicosia and whoever was the courier, said I must pick it up from there. and pay tax. I queried with Landsend and they said they had to send parcels via courier , so I cancelled the order and got my money back
