HP Officejet 7610 printer A3 wide format scan print copy
I have had this printer for 8 years and somehow, something happened during the move from Dipkarpaz to Famagusta. It is not working anymore.
I was recommended to try Digikey to see if they could repair it, they collected it but after 2 days, they said they could not repair it and suggested I buy a new one - Epson for almost TL12000!!!
I got a second opinion from another recommended repair shop but no success.
I have now bought a new HP one but don't know what to do with the old one.
Also when my sister came in March, she brought 2 x times 4 packf of inks, as I had no replacements - HP933 magenta, cyan, yellow, black. What can I do with those????

dippersgirl;, have you tried this:https://support.hp.com/ph-en/product/hp ... leshooting
It is very strange for a HP printer to suddenly fail unless it was dropped or squashed they are substantial bits of kit. When you say it is not working anymore do you mean it won't switch on, won't talk to your PC, won't scan or won't print?

Waddow - The printer was not dropped or any other mishap. I did try everything HP suggested, but nothing.
When I switch it on it starts to 'update itself' , takes ages but then it says there is error message
I have gone to the HP help page and doctor, but without success

Good one Jofra! HP printers have always been sturdy bits of kit for me and I rarely had catastrophic faults on them, the manufacturer of my choice and the 10 IT Techs who worked for me! Good luck with it dippersgirl, my bet is faulty carts!

Well, thats curious, It said a few times over the last 6 months or so, that I had one unauthorised ink cartridge, which I definitely did not.!!! I just ignored it.

Clean all the contacts (carefully) on the printer and carts as a first step. The temp out here tends to dry out ink very fast and like a battery in a torch/clock/remote control you will get loss of power, the same for ink carts failing to make proper contacts! I have a similar problem with my hearing aids and have to clean battery surfaces and tiny hearing aid contacts on a regular basis!
It’s the little things we always forget and take for granted that end up biting us in the bum - lol.
