Residency Girne police

Does anyone know if they're still making you get a ticket at the Girne police despite having an assigned time?

We didn’t last week - was appt at the windows at the side. Was sticking quite rigidly to the appts too!

Mr.Mac did they ask for your appointment time and date? They never have before. I was told the police don’t have the information about appointments. It comes from immigration and they’re not connected

One or two people walked up to the window and were asked if they had an appt. However I do think it depends entirely who is on the window when you go and whether they have been called away from their morning coffee.

So are they back to using Windows, not the office counter?

Can't speak for what they are doing at the moment. Outside was better than in though, more chairs to sit on and next to the coffee shop. They may feel its too hot outside at the moment.

Well they were only using the windows last Monday (19th) the left one specifically for Residency, next one was for ‘ins and outs’.Didn’t open til 0820 until coffee finished. Was asked what time appt was by the officer we were early so he wouldn’t see us!! eventually he did before time thank goodness. I do think as said it does depend on what staff are on on the day!!!
