We want to give it a try and see if we can make it to the southern part, without the car of course - so would anyone tell me a good parking place, close to the crossing?
I remember being in Nicosia before and its old streets could be hard to remember and navigate, so...
Thanx a lot!

You are better going across Ledra Street, far more to see and do.
You need to drive into the old town through and you will see car park sign just as you enter about 100mtrs turn on the left, end of that road.
Can give you better instructions if you don't know Famagusta

Re: Parking near Ledra Palace crossing point
So yesterday we got there. However bmw navi got us to Agios Demetios crossing instead of Ledra street one, so we had to take a drive to Ledra street.
Everything went well, we presented out Russian passports and were allowed to enter without any issues. Looks like Ledra street and the square it starts from have changed significantly since 2013, for the better.
