New year's eve recommendationss
Looking for somewhere to book for New year's eve. Nice food, entertainment and atmosphere in or around the Alsancak area.
We don't arrive untill the 29 December and think if I left it till then most places would be fully booked.
Thanks in advance

No live entertainment at Driftwood. The usual background music.

Re: New year's eve recommendationss
still looking for somewhere with a bit of a buzz to see the new year in.
To my mind, nothing in Kyrenia District beats Girne Town Centre on New Year's Eve...
Free Entertainment, Fireworks, Crowds of people just enjoying themselves.
Plenty of bars, eateries - what's not to like?

My favourite a bottle of baileys in a brown bag and sat on the park bench, unfortunately weather has put me off for the last 4 to 5 years

Completely off-subject; during my visits I have seen and goats (and donkeys), but not sheep - are these not common in Cyprus?
