Revolut Metal Card

Revolut are trying to get me to upgrade to their Metal Card.

They say that all purchases made in the TRNC will earn me 1% cash back.

They have analysed my statements and apart from a couple of payments (Netflix, etc) they say all other purchases were eligible.

Are there any “Metal” card holders that can confirm this please?

A couple of years back they said the same thing, then said you are spending in Cyprus!

Thanks. Maybe the “live help” is not so helpful?

Any country outside of Europe gets 1% cash back so it is great for instance if you live in Dubai except the £10 coffees would soon kill the benefit !!

In all seriousness though the 'live help' can be a brilliant thing considering how hard it would be to contact your UK 'mainstream' bank (if they allow you to have an account) out of hours with an atm problem for instance. I've never had live help come to me pushing anything, I thought you had to contact them.

You’re right. I asked a question, then they started to “soft sell” the metal card, with the benefits of 1% cash back.

As I remember them previously saying 1%, then when pushed a bit, they eventually confirmed the TRNC is listed as EU.

I don’t think this has changed, hence my original post.

Thanks
