Pekingese - happy ending - reunited with its owner
The dog has been around for a couple of days. It is not yappy or aggressive in any way. A little cautious, maybe. In need of being reunited with it’s rightful owner or perhaps a new owner.
We are a household of three cats. The dog is not for us.

Re: Pekingese wandering, presumed lost
I took the dog to Garfield vet in Alsancak this afternoon.
Fuat checked unsuccessfully for a microchip.
The dog is female and has been neutered.
The dog is comfortable with being handled. It is friendly and quiet.
This dog would make someone a wonderful companion without the need for lots of exercise.
The streets are not the place for a dog like this. It will not survive long without being taken in and cared for.
We have adopted three cats. Our cats are freaked by the presence of this dog. Our adopting the dog is not an option.

All good. Dog and owner reunited this morning. The dog had been missing for 15 days. Everyone concerned are happy and relieved.

Great news. Owner would have been over the moon. So glad it wasn't yet another dumped dog.

How long have you lived here?I thought that all dogs are chipped and registered with the Belidere
(Don't answer that, it was a rhetorical question )
