Hello, I have found this forum and after some advice if possible please.

We have booked flights to Istanbul for the champions league final but we have to cross the border. Didn't think anything of it but wanted to check there are no issues with what our plans are. I read there are some restrictions entering North and leaving South.

Friday we arrive in Paphos and have a night south.
Saturday we cross the border for a flight via Ercan to Istanbul.
Sunday we return from Istanbul to Ercan, then head to Paphos for the return home.
All transfers carried out by a Southern based company.

Our taxi company have said it shouldn't be any issue but wanted to double check..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I presume you have British Passports.

There should be no issue. You will get a 90 days in 180 day visa. The days will count from entry into RoC main port until you exit via RoC port.

Don’t invisage any problems at all. Bet that taxi was a pretty penny though lol

Thank you for the confirmation, yes all British passports.
Taxi is between 12 so not too bad, all in much cheaper than flying direct to Istanbul and we get a night in Cyprus

One last thought Passport stamps Turkey and TRNC good luck

And you need online visa to turkey .but everyone from.uk does so you probably know that .

then you go leave R0C
Hope they dont notice you've left their domain and entered it by an illegal port

UK citizens no longer require a visa for Turkey, it changed a few years ago.

You can ask for the stamps to be done on a separate paper, I was offered that at Ercan. It's called a KKTC pasaportsuz Giris - Çikis formu - a TRNC passportless entry exit form

P.s. I'm Liverpool fan but really hope man city win I can't deny I love watching haaland it's perfect for him at man city. I do hope he leaves soon though...

A different game but we are flying from London to Munich train to Prague then from Prague to Larnaca via Athens on Thursday , cab to the north for 3 weeks to chill .
