Birdwatching with Cyprus Wildlife Ecology

Last year my wife Damla and I set up this organisation and started to experiment with hosting birdwatching trips in North Cyprus.

Since we are both involved in conservation organisations (SPOT and KUSKOR) where we work largely on a voluntary basis, this enterprise allows us to continue collecting data on birds....and get paid!!

So far Since September we have guided over 60 clients and had great responses. This year we are increasing marketing and have started to take bookings for the Spring. We have had a great winter with lots of water, so there are many temporary wetlands that are brimming with life and well worth a trip and as the migration season kicks off in March we will be inundated with a huge diversity of passing species. And of course the endemic Cyprus Warbler and Cyprus Wheatear, breeding roller, bonellis eagles, egrets, glossy ibis, shrikes etc.

Check out our customer reviews and our media coverage at our website:

Prices vary according to number of people per trip and sites visited. You can get in touch by email or phone where we can discuss a trip, we'll then send you a booking summary to look at, or give you details by phone and we go from there.

We have leaflets in the Tourist offices and in a number of hotels but any help in spreading the word both in Cyprus and abroad would be appreciated.
