Banks here that deal with Mastercard
Does anybody know any bank here in North Cyprus that deal with Mastercard. As I have a Clarity Credit card and to save having to pay the cashline bank charges to withdraw Sterling could get the cash from a bank that deal with Mastercard.

Whilst unsure of your banking need, not is it my business to know, try Capital Bank. Our credit and debit cards issued by this bank are MasterCard supported.

Other than a couple of some weird and wonderful banks that I can't pronounce correctly, I haven't found a bank which refuses Mastercard. Maybe I've just been lucky.

I’ve got a Starling debit MasterCard, which I use for the same reason.
I’ve found took Turk Bankasi to always be successful.

I am assuming that you are talking about drawing sterling from a cash machine? If so, only Turkish (not Turkish Cypriot) banks have ATMs that are set up for multi currency. This would be TEB, Is Bank and Guarantee Bank only.

Agobard, yes I you're correct, on re-reading the OP, the question is regarding withdrawing Sterling and its only Turkish banks that dispense Sterling (at least that what Credit West and Capital Bank Managers have lead me to believe)

Clarity credit card gives you best market exchange rate when paying in stores restaurants etcoffshoredi wrote:Does anybody know any bank here in North Cyprus that deal with Mastercard. Cash withdrawal from machines
"Interest charges apply to cash you take out, from the day the cash is withdrawn. by the card holder "
The exchange rate is the same as if you had bought goods
So withdraw TL and watch out for point of withdrawal costs of the ATM provider
Your problem is paying for the cash you have withdrawn
The card does not allow you to pre-load cash so you are exposed to a 19.9%apr
