I have been away from the TRNC for a year now due to bereivement.
Since my last visit, I am aware that some of the rules regarding residency and permissions to stay for tourists have changed.
It was always the case that when I visited, I was granted a 90 day visa which was stamped into my passport (or on the accompanying white slip)
Since the introduction of the electronic passport checking machines, there was no longer any stamp made on your passport or for the white slip.
I am intending to visit the TRNC for approx 6 weeks when the Coronavirus situation stabilises but am unsure if I will be granted a 90 day visa or if I will only get a 30 day. (and how will I know what has been granted)
I am a property owner and hold a full kocan.
If I only get a 30 day, is there a way of obtaining an extension?

Re: Tourist Visas
We were given 30 days (you need to ask at the crossing) even though we had our Kocan with us. You might be lucky and get 90 days if you go through Metehan. Otherwise you have to go to Immigration in Lefkosia to have it extended to 90 days.

Re: Tourist Visas
Its usually 30 days I believe, if you've got a return ticket they may give you the dates to cover it.
Ercan will give you a stamp with the dates, I think you will need to speak with the officer at the crossing point.
