Not for the places it has been confirmed you can visit, ie supermarket, chemist, bank, petrol station. Went to Garanti today, business customers only we wanted money changing but no such luck.

Where did you get that info because the report says ‘if you want to leave your home’? Says nothing about shopping etc.

Poor police have been getting hammered with enquiries regarding this.

General Directorate of Police said, “In the permits to be taken within the scope of the Curfew Regulation issued by the Council of Ministers, there is no need to obtain a permit to go to the police headquarters, such as government offices, markets, butchers, banks and pharmacies.” He included his statements. The statement of the General Directorate of Police is as follows: “Important announcement to our people In the permits to be taken within the scope of the Curfew Order Declaration published by the Council of Ministers, there is no need to obtain permission to go to the most frequently asked government offices, markets, butchers, banks and pharmacies. It is kindly requested that our people complete these basic needs from the places closest to their homes and return to their homes as soon as possible. Police stations, telephones and Whatsapp message line are unnecessarily busy on this issue. Due to the extreme density experienced today, many of our citizens' calls could not be answered. It is kindly requested to pay attention to this issue so that we can respond to our citizens who are in need. "

"so that we can respond to our citizens" - more racism, unintentional?

It's a Google translation, please don't try to make this more than it is. We have better things to be worrying about.

I read citizens to mean public and certainly didn't see any racism implied or otherwise. Why try to stir things up?
