Watering olive trees
Can anyone please tell me if I should be watering my olive trees during the summer? I have two baby trees which I water every two weeks but I don't water my older trees and so far (the last four years) the trees seem healthy and the crop average. Will I improve the quality of my olives by watering or is it better not to? I have looked in books and on the internet but all of the advice seems very conflicting and really depends on what part of the Med. you live in. I would be grateful if anyone can help.

Re: Watering olive trees
Only just seen this posting as I thought I would look at the gardening section and not active topics. We were told by a local olive picker to water our trees regularly during the summer to get a plumper crop.
