NTV and internet
Our Ntv is freezing and stopping quite frequently. Have inquired at internet provider but no response yet. Not sure if it is the internet or Ntv. Is anyone else having problems?
Thanks
Thanks

Yes we are every evening. Also the times of the programs are not "live" . We checked our internet its not that which is affecting the freezing problem.

Hi Mollie(Steve)
We had the problem with the times but it’s because the time on the box is Istanbul which is an hour ahead of us.
Go to the beginning menu where you can choose tv, video club etc
Go into settings
Click down to Localization and press ok button on remote
Make sure the time zone says Asia/Nicosia.

Hi, I don't know which ISP you are with, but I'm with Multimax.
I checked the connection to the Kyrenia MMx server, and also to a London server - they were both OK.
I tried watching Pointless live on BBC iplayer (using a VPN) and that was OK, and also tried watching pointless via NTV (I only get the 'Free' channels as a Multimax customer) - without a VPN, and that was fine also. This was around 6pm.
Obviously I only spent a few minutes on each test, so it's not conclusive, but it sort of points to a fault on either your own domestic installation, or your connection to your ISP, or an issue with your ISP - whoever that is...

Hi, I've just seen Mollie the cat's post, - I see that she's with Multimax, and you're not, so you really do need to speak to your ISP and/or NTV - maybe I just didn't leave the programme running for long enough to encounter the same issue as you - sorry that I can't be more positive!

The problem seems to be NTV, virtually unwatchable this evening. I'm with MM and there are good speeds so that shouldn't affect TV.

Hi Spud 50,
Thanks for the information however, tried that, its now 2.30pm, NTV only shows the next program not what I am actually watching?? Frustrating to have to switch to each program instead of seeing it on the menu in real time.

Have you tried disconnecting the power from the box, counting to 10, and then reconnecting?Mollie the cat wrote:Hi Spud 50,
