Or up to the mountains, where they would see the beautiful views, if they slow down a bit.

The wild goats and donkeys, who will, hopefully, get out of the way in time.

And maybe, the odd mountain dweller, who is bound to have a cousin, who can supply them with spare tyres, spark plugs etc etc, at a greatly inflated price of course.

I am seriously considering doing this myself.

Possible material they could use in a "NORTH CYPRUS TOP GEAR SPECIAL"

1.How many Range Rover's and BMW 4x4's are there in North Cyprus ?

Invite all the owners of Range Rover's and BMW X5/X6 (there is a few thousand of them) out for a drive from Girne to Tatlisu. Competition is to see which model has the biggest turn out. They would probably fill the coastal road from end to end.

Army helicopters could be used to film the aerial camera shots. From the air it would look like a 4x4 train with the sea on one side and the mountains on the other side, it would make for some impressive camera footage.

2.Are cars in North Cyprus the most expensive in the world ?



The trio could report on how used cars hold there value so well here in North Cyprus.
Cars usually start from 2000 sterling and for that you get a 30yr old Renault.

Are the cars in North Cyprus the most expensive in the world ?
If you want a Mercedes that costs say £40,000 in the UK then expect to pay £70,000 for it in North Cyprus.

3.Test Drive these over priced cars new and used on some of North Cyprus Roads.

While the presenters are test driving they could have a competition between themselves as to how many North Cyprus drivers they can spot breaking traffic laws. Each presenter gets points on the offenses witnessed.

Points would be awarded for:

* Any car that does not indicate
* Children not wearing seat belts (This does make me so angry )
* traffic light violations
* drivers using mobile phone's
* over accessorized car's (eg spoilers,neon lights,stickers, beaded seats)
and a bonus point added for whoever witnesses a car carrying more than 5 passengers.

I would imagine there would be a few points dished out.
